I have recently been doing a project on fashion photography. This is Sam doing a bit of Street Style modeling for me in Brighton (shame about the rain!).
This is my Male Model Final shot.
This shot had to be based on a stylist and I chose to look at the fabulous Priscilla Polley, who does a lot of work for Nylon magazine.
And this is my (un-edited) 1960's photograph. My inspiration for this photo was the photographer Sam Haskins. I'm a big fan of his work.

Brighton...

We had only been in Brighton for 10 minutes and we had already found the perfect little vintage shop, Kate & Aud! From amazing bags to wonderful brooches, we were in heaven!

Our day included having a scrumptious lunch with Ally's sister, Liv! She pointed us in the right direction to all the other amazing shops, including the recently opened Brighton branch of Beyond Retro. I managed to get a couple of head scarfs for the summer - optimistic? Perhaps. We want the warm weather to greet us as soon as possible! Ally successfully snapped her street style pictures, which I'm sure she will post on here soon.

A Spot of Modeling...

At the moment I'm very busy with a new project, Fashion Photography. Yesterday i was surposed to have a male model lined up, apparently there are no guys who look like male models where i live...but i do...
I have also taken some natural beauty shots for my lovely friend Jo (with a prop)
I have also had to pick one of my old photos and re-edit it. I chose this one of Sam...

Long Live McQueen...

We thought we would make a tribute to (Alexander) Lee McQueen and show off some of his collections. Autumn/Winter09 being the best! No doubt there will be a tribute to him at London Fashion Week. So talented, he has inspired a whole fashion generation to think outside the box.

The 'How To..' For Sam's Hairdo!

Coco Before Chanel

We finally got around to watching Coco Before Chanel!

It was a delightful yet tragic love story, pleasantly slow moving but grabs you in and pulls at the heart strings, having you fall in love with fashion all over again.

As the lady said herself...

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”

You'll see for yourself that most of the film is based on this very quote.
